Hay Harvest

June closes out, our spring hay is out of the field and stored until winter. The high cost of granular fertilizer made us look at other options, so this year we went to spray fertilizer. We made 2 extra applications and the results are in, we produced about 18% more hay than last spring. The Momma cows will be happy.

The fall cut is around the Korner, we will see how it does, hopefully the summer heat wont bring a drought.
